Through the years after Hork was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hork's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Hork was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
