History: Mardnab was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
