History: Quick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Now she works as a music tutor during her time off.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and she wants revenge against dire rats
