He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

When Nurkara reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
