History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Bork and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bork discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bork fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Dalaba's homeland. Dalaba decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
