Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Tree lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a apothecary and was forced into it by his family
