History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Kristryd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Miller like her father before her.
