Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.
