History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Vepar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born in the south. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and further expansion of business
