Description: This woman stands a little under 3'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and white handkerchief worn on her left side. Her long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Gurdis is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Gurdis took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vani does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When Vani reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
