History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pallabar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Orla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She tends to her Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
