His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Patrin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He became a Dyer soon after.
