History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Laucian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Adventurer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born into a rich family. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Description: This slender man stands about 4'5". He wears a grey coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulfgar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Ulfgar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to end his boredom
