Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Nykkan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nykkan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Mella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.
