He has worked as a Sailor like his mother before him.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Nelkin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Nelkin took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dayereth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dayereth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Syllin's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She uses divination through singing.

History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a deep hatred of giants
