Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Gale was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
