History: He was born in a small plains village. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Rûg began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
