History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A true patriot, Oppleby would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oppleby fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: 3'4" and muscular, this northern woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her sickle with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. With bright silver hair. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A freak accident while working with her Assassin father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy black hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Unemployed and was forced into it by her family; and she has a crush on the local priest

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
