History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lagazi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rangrim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ruler. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
