History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
