History: Cressel lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Born in the east to a Baker, Manfred learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Baker for the past few years.
