Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rathkran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rathkran was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Shava enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a yellow costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Makaria was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She likes to wear grey tank tops with tan skirt. Her silver hair, when down, is lengthy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents enrolled her in a Fighter school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to end her boredom
