History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Marigold was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
