Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Vola learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vola took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She became a Body Guard soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with her Bowyer father left her crippled. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. She has white hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. A true patriot, Bryseis would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Bryseis hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bryseis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bryseis. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a long, yellow cloak. His hair is white and curly. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She wears yellow trousers with white and black striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. She keeps her red hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
