History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marastyr was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Cora never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
