History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eida grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eida. Being a Soapmaker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Panana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sculptor, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a sculptor and was forced into it by her family
