In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Savaran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Quarethon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Brewer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants her loneliness to end
