History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
