History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it, marred by beers. Her brown hair is braided into rings. Her ears are large.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This southern man dresses like a well dressed Miner does. His clothes are grease stained in places. His crest is bronze and very short. His eyes are gold and beady.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Dazzazn was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miner. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has no hair. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his broad brown hat.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
