History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Althaea grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Althaea. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Lone hails from a village terrorized by drow. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lone alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Lone never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Body Guard profession.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Bowyer soon after.

Personality: Oskar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Oskar has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miller, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and to reunite with her absent father
