History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Harbek was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Harbek's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new fletcher responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Detective father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
