History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born in a small island village. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.
