History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and she wants to get laid

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rûkdûg does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture
