History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fistula grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Katherine's homeland. Katherine decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
