History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Laborer soon after.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Xanaphia was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Xanaphia decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat. She is portly but not overly obese. Her black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Beatrice hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Beatrice took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor she uses now. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: An older man who prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Naeris enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Stylist arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Stylist. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
