History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jade grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jade. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Roondar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roondar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nim isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Nim hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Nim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
