History: Ar-Kaius hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Bharash hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Bharash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
