History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Cloak was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cloak's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Baker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and balancing his hectic life and new baker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. After a long history of fighting, Quick and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
