Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Quarion enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Quarion lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Quarion took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is mildly Dragonborn supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Jheri was born with her father's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Glassblower work with an outfit from a few towns over. Glassblower work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Glassblower soon after.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears suspenders and green workpants. Her shirt is brown, and she wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. Her hair is short and brown. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anakis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anakis. Being a Cook kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
