Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his red hair up. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
