Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vonana studied abroad. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Knight, her father struggled to pay the bills. Jillian liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
