After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Whurdred was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Blacksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shag was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Nora lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
