He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Beast is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rosalind embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born in the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This southern woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She has a long white ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and doesn't want to be a interpreter and was forced into it by her family

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, green shirt, and yellow tie. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
