History: Born to a Herbalist, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Valida was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Valida's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Habor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
