Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Beast took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Portia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
