History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Morgran was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
