History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by drow. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Kyle was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kyle's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
