Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Tordrid's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in a small island village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veloptima fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother
