Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He carries with him a set of whips, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has wavy golden hair. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Takra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Takra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Takra. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This northern woman is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears her brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Trym was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears baggy blue pantaloons and a black scarf. He carries a battered axe and tarnished glaive as well. He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arannis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is content.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. His hair is silver and very short. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Pushkrimp is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Gifted from a young age, Pushkrimp studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Pushkrimp was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sannl isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is harsh and unforgiving.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.
