History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Masseuse arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Makaria alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Gardener soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but he was a colossal failure. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
